Do I need a computer and email address to take a “Blended Class”?
A. Yes, Most of the class is taken online, with the in person to demonstrate skills. Regular full in person classes can be scheduled, if requested. Minimum number of students required.
2. How old do you have to be to take the class?
A. You must be 10 years old and have the arm strength to perform compressions correctly.
3. How much does it cost?
A. Blended Adult/Pediatric class cost $80.00/ person.
4. When are payments due?
A. There is no cost to take the ARC online portion. Total class cost must be paid prior to the in-person portion of the class.
5. How long does it take to get your ARC card?
A. Cards are emailed within 2-3 days from completion of the class.
6. How long does the class take?
A. Allow 2-3 hrs to complete the online portion and 1.5 hours for the Adult only and 2.5 hrs for the Adult/Pediatric, in-person portion of the class.
7. Does this class meet the requirements for Health Care Workers?
A. No, CPR, First Aid for Medical Workers must be taught by an Instructor qualified for Medical worker’s classes.
8. Does this class meet OSHA workplace requirements?
A. Yes, this class meets most OSHA workplace requirements.
